Long working distances provide the operator with magnification without compromising on manoeuvrability to manipulate the subject. Many applications require operators to inspect and manipulate subjects; this can be done easily and precisely beneath the lens of the new Mantis. In Universal stand configuration, the operator has the flexibility to inspect and manipulate without having to move from their seating position.
Superb hand-eye co-ordination
Maintaining the relative distance between hand and eye improves the user's coordination when manipulating the subject.
When viewing a subject through Mantis, the apparent focal distance between the operator's eyes and the subject is exactly the same as the actual distance between the eyes and the subject. This makes it easier to rework and manipulate the subject even when it is magnified. Additionally, this removes the needs for the eyes to refocus, further reducing eyestrain and fatigue.
Both a large depth of field and field of view are presented through the Mantis. This allows the operator to view more of their subject with more of it in focus.
