Lynx VS8 is an eyepieceless stereo inspection microscope for specialist Printed Circuit Board (PCB) inspection and is ideal for all electronics applications including fine pitch, surface mount, TAB and Ball Grid Array (BGA) technology.

The Lynx VS8 utilises Vision Engineering's patented Dynascope technology which offers the user advanced ergonomics by removing the need for restrictive eyepieces.

This significantly increases head freedom and eye relief, reducing operator stress and fatigue over long periods of time.

A variant of Vision Engineering's successful Lynx stereo microscope, Lynx VS8 utilises Vision Engineering's patented Dynascope technology to offer the user advanced ergonomics by removing the need for restrictive eyepieces.

Increased head and body freedom for the operator leads to greater productivity, increased throughput, improved quality control and less fatigue.

Lynx VS8 inspection system is in use in tens of thousands of PCB manufacturing sites worldwide and provides optimum ergonomics to reduce fatigue, increase operator accuracy and reduce scrap.

Lynx VS8 is a patented eyepieceless stereo microscope for dedicated PCB inspection tasks.

The eyepieceless optics of Lynx significantly increase head freedom and eye relief, reducing operator stress and fatigue over long periods of time.

Scanning Stage

Stable, high capacity scanning stage provides free-floating movement for all sizes of board, including double-sided PCBs.

Stage can be locked for precision inspection tasks (X-axis, Y-axis, or both) and is complete with earthing point for static-safe inspection.

Oblique and Direct Viewer

Lynx VS8 Inspection Microscope ObliqueView

The Oblique and Direct Viewer allows the operator to view a subject from an angle of 34° from vertical, which can be rotated through to 360° enabling a better stereo view of 3-dimensional subjects including PCB solder joints, holes, pillars and thread forms.

Choose either manual or motorised rotation operation and switchable between rotating and direct views. The Oblique and Direct Viewer has integral ringlight illumination.

Modular multimedia solutions are available for image archiving, acquisition, processing, analysis and documentation.

 

 Step magnification multiplier

Allows the stereo zoom range to be increased by a factor of 1.5x without changing the working distance.
