Designed for geospatial professionals

DELTOUR is built specifically for the demands of geospatial work. Intensive analysis means long sessions, complex datasets and imagery from multiple sources. Accurate depth perception isn’t optional. It’s what the work requires. Supported applications include:

  • Photogrammetry
  • GIS analysis
  • Geospatial intelligence
  • Defence and situational awareness
  • Terrain modelling
  • Remote sensing interpretation
  • Infrastructure and urban planning analysis
The next step in stereo visualisation

Intelligent eye tracking technology

DELTOUR uses a precision lenticular lens array integrated into a flat-panel display to deliver separate left- and right-eye images. A built-in camera system continuously tracks your eye position and dynamically adjusts the viewing zones to maintain optimal stereo perception as you move freely within the viewing envelope.

Each eye receives the correct image perspective through a combination of eye-tracking cameras, stereoscopic rendering and real-time image control. The output is stable, flicker-free stereoscopic depth, without special eyewear and without compromise to image quality.

The glasses-free experience means you can work comfortably for extended periods, with no eyewear fatigue and no adjustment needed during operation.

Natural depth perception for complex imagery

Accurate interpretation of geospatial data relies on perceiving subtle variations in terrain, structures and surfaces. With DELTOUR, you can:

  • Identify terrain features quickly and confidently
  • Interpret imagery with greater accuracy
  • Work with complex datasets intuitively
  • Maintain productivity across long analytical sessions

Multi-user workflow

DELTOUR’s built-in cameras deliver stereo imagery to the primary user. Colleagues viewing from the side or standing nearby see the same content in mono, enabling real-time co-observation and faster decision-making without any additional hardware.

Simple, modern workspace integration

Unlike optical mirror-based stereo systems, DELTOUR is a single flat-panel display that integrates easily into modern workspaces. It has a compact desktop footprint, connects directly to your existing workstation and requires minimal setup. No glasses, no specialist installation, no disruption to your working day.

Seamless integration with geospatial workstations

A key innovation of DELTOUR is Vision Engineering’s dedicated stereo controller and custom software. Many geospatial applications generate stereo imagery designed for traditional display technologies. The DELTOUR controller translates this output and optimises the signal so it displays smoothly and seamlessly on the lenticular screen, with no major changes to your existing software workflows.

The controller enables:

  • Smooth stereo rendering from existing workstation outputs
  • Compatibility with stereo-capable geospatial software
  • Real-time translation of stereo signals for lenticular display
  • A stable, flicker-free viewing experience

    FAQS

DELTOUR is a flat screen, glasses-free display that uses lenticular optics and eye-tracking technology to deliver a stereo image. CONTOUR and VECTOUR use Vision Engineering optical technology to direct stereo channels to the eyes without tracking. DELTOUR therefore provides a more conventional monitor form factor, making it easier to integrate into existing workstation environments.

No. DELTOUR delivers a stereo image directly to the viewer without requiring polarised glasses, active shutter glasses or VR headsets.

NVIDIA 3D Vision required active shutter glasses, which often resulted in flicker, ghosting and reduced brightness. DELTOUR removes the need for glasses entirely while delivering a stable, high-quality stereo image with natural depth perception.

Many glasses-free 3D monitors rely purely on lenticular or parallax barrier technology, which can suffer from limited viewing zones and compatibility issues. DELTOUR integrates eye-tracking with a dedicated Vision Engineering controller, ensuring that stereo images from professional geospatial workstations are correctly translated and displayed for smooth, stable stereo viewing.

No. DELTOUR operates like a conventional monitor and can be used immediately with compatible stereo software.

No. It takes approximately 15 minutes to unpack and assemble.

Yes. DELTOUR is designed for compatibility with stereo-capable geospatial and photogrammetry software.

DELTOUR does not impose special graphics requirements beyond those needed for the stereo software in use. Typical professional graphics cards such as NVIDIA RTX/Quadro is suitable.

DELTOUR connects to the workstation via standard video outputs. A Vision Engineering controller translates the stereo signal from the workstation so that it can be correctly displayed on the lenticular screen.

Many 3D monitors require special glasses or provide multi-view displays that reduce image clarity. DELTOUR delivers true stereo imagery to each eye, supported by eye-tracking and signal processing to maintain stable, clear 3D visualisation.

No. Virtual Reality systems require head-mounted displays that isolate the user and may cause motion sickness or fatigue. DELTOUR provides stereo 3D viewing on a standard monitor, allowing users to maintain awareness of their environment and easily interact with colleagues or reference materials.

DELTOUR is designed for comfortable desktop viewing at approximately 50–70 cm from the screen.

Yes. DELTOUR does not require additional glasses, so users can comfortably wear their normal prescription glasses.

Yes. DELTOUR can be used as part of a multi-monitor workstation setup, allowing users to combine stereo 3D viewing with conventional 2D screens.
