REAL-TIME COLLABORATION

With integral dual video outputs, high resolution stereo imagery can be shared to other VECTOUR or CONTOUR workstations anywhere, in REAL-TIME.

Vision Engineering’s VECTOUR, and CONTOUR glasses-free stereo display, have built-in video inputs AND outputs allowing easy connectivity to secondary displays for sharing data in REAL-TIME with local staff or remotely ACROSS MULTIPLE LOCATIONS, nationally or internationally, via a networked connection. This creates the opportunity to share stereo imagery with local or remote colleagues for consultation, collaboration, quality control and teaching.

COMFORTABLE TEAM VIEWING

Height and tilt adjustment allows comfortable team viewing as colleagues don’t need to stoop to view the stereo imagery.

The stereo image display is visible from a wide range of viewing angles in daylight conditions enabling team viewing and collaboration.

EASY HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

VECTOUR’s height can easily be adjusted to suit users of different statures. A gas spring in the column of the unit allows you to easily and precisely position the monitor height to your preferred level. This ensures a comfortable viewing position which will help continued use over long periods.

TILT ADJUSTMENT

The mechanical design of the VECTOUR has grouped together the 2 monitors and the beam splitter on one common hinge. This allows you to adjust the angle to further optimize your viewing comfort.

Alternatively, when consulting with colleagues, you can simply tilt the Vectour up so they can comfortably view the stereo imagery without needing to sit or stoop.

TIDY

Vectour’s interfaces are neatly arranged at the back of the display all in one place. With built-in video inputs and outputs, connection to secondary displays for sharing data in REAL-TIME is easy.

CONTROLLED ALIGMENT

Vectour’s beam splitter position can be easily adjusted by means of horizontally mounted cam control knobs on each side of the beam splitter which allow you to adjust it in a more intuitive and confident way.

BEAM SPLITTER STORAGE

For mono applications which require the use of the lower monitor only, you can simply remove the beam splitter by lifting and locating it into its stored position.

GIS APPLICATIONS

VECTOUR stereoscopic monitors are compatible with most stereo supporting GIS software packages. If your software supports Nvidia 3D Vision Pro or Planar, then it will work with VECTOUR.

    FAQS

While VECTOUR uses passive polarised glasses for separation of stereo channels, CONTOUR is a unique glasses-free stereo display technology which delivers two independent optical paths to the user’s eyes. As a result, CONTOUR delivers an ultra-bright stereo image with absolutely no ghosting and is a single user system.
VECTOUR can be viewed by several users simultaneously making it ideal for team reviews.

VECTOUR is a beam splitter stereo display with built-in ergonomic features of height and tilt adjustment to accommodate users of different heights and to increase the user’s comfort. VECTOUR is also equipped with bypass video outputs making it easy to daisy-chain several VECTOURS or connect VECTOURS over network.

Both stereo channels of VECTOUR 22’’ and 24’’ are FULL HD 1920×1080.

Active shutter glasses technology, suffers from flickering, cross-talk and ghosting, which provokes eye strain.

VECTOUR delivers a brighter image with no flickering or ghosting. NVIDIA “3D Vision” active shutter glasses and emitter are no longer supported by the manufacturer.

Yes. You can use VECTOUR display in place of the NVIDIA 3D Vision glasses, without investing in a new graphics card. The only difference is that VECTOUR will use two outputs of the graphics cards, as opposed to NVIDIA 3D Vision which uses one.

Yes. VECTOUR allows you to use your prescription glasses in conjunction with polarisation glasses.

No. VECTOUR is a stereo display which works out of the box. We also supply easy to follow documentation on NVIDIA and AMD graphics card configuration.

No. It takes approximately 15 minutes to unpack and assemble.

The two displays that make up the VECTOUR are precisely factory aligned. The beam splitter position can be easily adjusted by the user by means of comfortable cam dials.

Yes. VECTOUR is compatible with stereo capable GIS software packages.

VECTOUR doesn’t impose additional requirements beside those required by the GIS software package in use. Any quad buffered stereo capable graphics card (NVIDIA Quadro or AMD RadeonPro/FirePro) can be used with VECTOUR.

Yes. Since VECTOUR is equipped with built-in bypass video outputs, several VECTOURs can be easily daisy-chained using HDMI cables. Using additional hardware, it is also possible to stream the stereo image from one VECTOUR to another over a network. In the same way VECTOURS can be connected with CONTOURS

VECTOUR is supplied with a comprehensive user guide. Unpacking, assembly and handling instruction videos are also available.
