STAND: 220
LOCATION: Farnborough, UK

DPRTE 2026 is the UK’s premier event for defence procurement and supply chain engagement. Officially supported by the Ministry of Defence, the event connects buyers, suppliers, and policymakers for two days of networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across all areas of defence acquisition.

This year’s event takes place in the context of the recently published Strategic Defence Review, the evolving Defence Industrial Strategy, and the government’s commitment to meet the new NATO target to spend 5% of the UK’s GDP on national security by 2035 with 3.5% to go on core defence and the remaining 1.5% on defence-related areas such as resilience and security.

We will be showcasing several new microscopy innovations. Amongst them will be exciting new digital inspection systems, eyepiece-less microscopes, including our flagship Mantis, and Lynx EVO – winner of the Queen’s Award for Innovation,  4K digital microscope EVO Cam HALO, and a selection of non-contact metrology systems.

Vision Engineering has been designing and manufacturing ergonomic microscopes, digital microscopes, 3D inspection and non-contact measuring systems for over 65 years. With a philosophy of design innovation, Vision Engineering’s unique products significantly improve viewing ergonomics, enabling customers to improve quality and productivity.
